Terms and Conditions – House Clearance Removals

The standard terms of service for House Clearance Removals bookings.

By booking a service with House Clearance Removals, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding of the work to be provided and the responsibilities of both parties.

1. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided over the phone or via email are based on the information and/or photos provided by the client. We reserve the right to amend the final price if the volume or nature of the items differs significantly upon arrival at the property.

2. Hazardous Materials

As licensed waste carriers, we cannot dispose of certain hazardous materials unless specifically agreed upon in writing. This includes, but is not limited to: asbestos, chemicals, paints, oils, and medical waste. Clients must disclose these items before the crew arrives.

3. Access to Property

The client is responsible for ensuring the crew has clear access to the property at the agreed time. This includes parking for our vehicles and access to all areas requiring clearance. Any delays caused by restricted access may incur additional labor charges.

4. Payments

Payment is generally due upon completion of the work unless prior arrangements have been made (e.g., for probate or commercial accounts). We accept cash, bank transfers, or card payments where available.

5. Cancellations

We understand that plans change. We request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a call-out fee to cover lost time and fuel.

6. Liability

While we handle every item with total care, House Clearance Removals is fully insured for public liability and goods in transit. Any claims for damage must be reported to the crew leader before they leave the site on the day of the job.
